A Nigerian student approached a suya vendor and made a wager with him, boasting that he could devour the entire stick of smoked beef.
They decided that if he could finish the suya, he would not have to pay anything, but if he couldn’t, he would have to pay for the ones he didn’t finish.
Unfortunately for the young man, he was unable to accomplish the task and thus lost the bet. It is said to have occurred at the University of Benin.
The student ate N12,200 worth of Suya out of a total of N22,700 for the full bunch, and his body couldn’t take it any longer.
Because he had lost the bet and had no money to pay, the suya guy threatened to take him home.
The suya salesman gripped the young man by his knicker in a video shared on social media as he sought to regain his balance after a large lunch.
